If you live in New Orleans and will not be spending the night in the hotel, but still want to attend, the cost is $100.00.

Every member MUST sell 1 book; 10 tickets in a book; $1 a ticket

Will receive 2 points per book, no limit on number of points.

Come see student teams take on faculty teams in a trivial pursuit like game, FREE

6:30 P. M. – Fear Factor – Strawberry Stadium

Games (goofy, nasty and otherwise)

7:30 P. M. – DSA Flag football – Strawberry Stadium

Game between DSA Staff and students

 

Wednesday, October 15

10:00 A. M. – 2:00 P. M. - Gumbo Ya Ya – Student Union Park

o Free food (gumbo and cake), games and activities

o Selling raffle tickets and cheek cheers

Formal presentation of the Court

5:30 P.M. - ? – Dorm Challenge – Field between Dorms

o Fun and Games

Will need 5 members to attend and participate – NEED to be living in Resident Halls

 

Thursday, October 16

10:00 A. M. Food Drive – Student Union Mall

o Help collect and weigh food

o At 2:00 P. M., help deliver food to Tangi Food Pantry.

Need people with vans, trucks or SUV’s

7:00 P. M. Bonfire/Street Dance/Pep Rally/Fireworks

o Free food, music and FUN!!!

Need at least 5 members to attend, see Ms. Jackie.

 

Friday, October 17

7:00 P. M. – Lip Sync in Student Union Mall

Need 5 members present to get points

 

Saturday, October 18

2:00 P. M. – Parade – Alumni House

o Line up at 1:00 P. M.

Only people that work on the float can ride

6:00 P. M. – Southeastern vs. Northwestern

 

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of Homecoming week (October 15, 16 and 17th) we will be working on our float.  We will be using the first floor of the Student Parking Garage to store our float.  Contact Katie Hutto and Cliff Speed about times.

 

All Homecoming involvement counts for service points.  We hope you will want to be a part of the excitement..
