Old South Old South is a great tradition of Kappa Alpha Order. Every Spring our chapter celebrates this occasion by putting on one of the biggest and best social events at SLU. The events start on Monday night with a brotherhood, and continues throughout the week with activities such as Casino Night and a crawfish boil. Saturday afternoon consists of a lawn party where all the brothers don their confederate uniforms and escort their dates in their antebellum dresses. Saturday night is the Dixie Ball where we all celebrate the glory of the Old South.
