Students must be enrolled in the School of Nursing at Southeastern.

Amount of Dues: 
$10 annually

Description of Organization: 
The purpose of the SLU SNA is to aid in the development of the individual student of nursing as a future health professional and be aware of and contribute to the improvement of health care of all people.

SNA members are welcome to attend meetings at the Hammond Campus or Baton Rouge Center. Remember, lunch is provided!!!

Community Affairs & Activities

  • Career Fair
    Each semester SNA organizes a Career Fair for the junior and senior nursing students

  • Fundraisers
    Each year students vote on a charitable organization to support. Examples
    Fall ’08 – Nursing Study Abroad Honduras Fundraiser
    Spring ’09 – Safe Harbor Fundraiser for battered women & children

  • Blood Drive
    SNA hosts a blood drive with the Blood Center each semester

  • National Student Nurses' Association Convention
    each year representatives attend from SELU SNA
