Chrissy Carter is an Anchor/Reporter/Producer for Northshore News. As a news reporter, Chrissy has won first place Mark of Excellence Awards for Television General News Reporting and News Feature reporting out of all college TV reporters in a four-state region (Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee) given by the Society of Professional Journalists. She has also won “Best of South” recognition for Television News Reporting awarded by the Southeast Journalism Conference from among all university reporters in Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida and South Carolina. Most recently, Chrissy was honored by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in the Suncoast Region (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Puerto Rico) with two prestigious Emmy nominations for her news and feature stories. Chrissy also produces and hosts weekly Southeastern News Updates, the entertainment show Cinematheque, and has appeared in "College Night".

Garrett Frazier is the web developer of the Southeastern Channel Website. He loves to race motocross and go mountainbiking on the weekends. Garrett has a marching band scholarship here at Southeastern in the "Spirit of the Southland Marching Band" and also plays in Jazz Ensembles as well as the various Symphonic bands here in the music program. As one of our most prized posessions here at The Southeastern Channel, Garrett is an Art major concentrating in New Media and Animation who skateboards and goes to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado to snowboard every winter where he enjoys building jumps and doing a little freestyle. If you get to know him, you'll absolutely fall in love with his kind and loving personality.
Jessica LeBlanc is an Anchor/Reporter/Producer for Northshore News, the student newscast which in 2011 was named one of the top three newscasts in the country by College Broadcasters, Inc.. Jessica was named one of the top four student television news reporters in country by College Broadcasters, Inc. as a National Finalist for the 2011 National Student Production Award for Best Television News Reporting. Also in 2011, Jessica was named "Best College News Anchor in the South" by the Southeast Journalism Conference from all university anchors in Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida and South Carolina. Most recently, Jessica was nominated for an Emmy by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in the Suncoast Region (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Puerto Rico) for one of her 2011 Northshore News stories. Jessica has also won a second-place Mark of Excellence Award for Television General News Reporting out of all college TV reporters in a four-state region (Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee) given by the Society of Professional Journalists. In addition, Jessica hosts weekly Southeastern news updates along with episodes of the entertainment shows "Screeners" and "College Night".
Hunter Robinson is the producer and anchor of the national award-winning sports show, “The Big Game”. An ESPN “Sportscenter”-style show, “The Big Game” recently won the Award of Excellence for Best Sportscast given by the national Videography Awards. Two “Big Game” episodes produced by Hunter were honored by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in the Suncoast Region (all universities in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Puerto Rico) with prestigious Emmy nominations, the only nominations given in the college division for sports programming. As a reporter for “The Big Game”, Hunter has had two of his stories recently take home the first place Award of Excellence as given by the national Videography Awards. In addition to doing sports event play-by-play and sideline reporter announcing, Hunter produces and hosts the biweekly Southeastern coach's show, "Lion Tracks" while hosting weekly 5-minute Southeastern sports updates. Hunter also serves as the co-anchor for “Northshore News”, recently named one of the top three college newscasts in the country.
