The Southeastern Channel transmits from its head-in distribution facility located at the University Center. This facility serves as the primary site where programs are collected, scheduled and delivered to the cable system. It's fully digital and server-based with live broadcast capability. Complete with high tech digital receivers, the facility serves as the control station for satellite downlinks of educational programming for scheduling and distribution via the channel. The channel's master control utilizes a digital, server-based programming system holding more than seven days of programming, replacing traditional tape decks frequently used in television operations and automating program operations.

The Southeastern Channel's state of the art studio features mobile Sony digital broadcast cameras producing a high quality image. The cameras include teleprompters. Each digital video camera runs into a 16-input Ross digital switcher with effects and chroma keyer. The studio also includes a Clearcom intercom and IFB studio talkback system, Sony DSR-1500 DVCAM digital video decks for roll-ins or recording, a Mackie 24-channel audio mixing console, and a state-of-the-art lighting system with lighting grid, 48 lights, computerized dimmer console, studio curtains and cyclorama. The control room includes 14 monitors. Cutting edge Final Cut Pro systems equip the editing suite.
