Cutno News Sports Reporter
Former Southeastern Channel and "Big Game" anchor/reporter/producer Damon Cutno has been hired as a sports anchor/news video journalist at WMBF-TV (NBC) in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Cutno joins the size 103 market NBC affiliate less than a year after graduating from Southeastern after working as a full-time sports reporter/anchor/producer at the Pelican Broadcasting Network (KRBN-TV 11) in Baton Rouge.
As WMBF weekend Sports Anchor and General Assignment Video Journalist, Cutno writes, shoots and anchors sports segments for 6 and 11 pm. weekend newscasts along with general assignment news reporting during the week and also providing content on all digital platforms.
While at the Southeastern Channel, Cutno was honored by the Society of Professional Journalists with a regional Mark of Excellence Award for his sports reporting for "The Big Game". Cutno also anchored and produced the regular sportscast and hosted the Southeastern coach's talk show, "Lion Tracks". He also handled live sideline reporting duties for Southeastern football and basketball broadcasts.
